묏장대(배추과 애기장대속)

아침 식사 전 5시부터 일어나서 숙소 주변 숲을 탐사하였다.

십자화과만 보이면 혹시 묏장대가 아닐까 하고 들여다 보길 여러 번.

드뎌 묏장대로 생각되는 녀석이 레이다망에 걸렸다.

 

줄기가 곧게 서고 뿌리잎이 우상으로 갈라지며 줄기잎은 좁은 피침형이다.

 

산장대는 줄기가 곧게 혹은 비스듬하게 자라는데

개화 후 결실기에 줄기가 쓰러지면서 마디에서 새싹을 내여 뿌리가 내리는데 비하여

묏장대는 곧게 서고 새싹을 내지 않는다.

 

산장대가 독립적으로 자랄 때 개화 초기에 곧게 서는 경우가 있어서 묏장대로 오인하는 경우가 있는데

산장대는 줄기잎이 넓은 타원형이라 피침형인 묏장대와 차이가 있다.

산장대에도 털의 발현이 다양하게 나타나기 때문에 털의 정도로는 산과 묏장대를 비교하기는 무리가 있다.

 

국내에서는 묏장대를 아직 본 적이 없고 묏장대라고 올려진 사진도 보면 99%가 산장대이다.

숙소 돌축에도 이 녀석과 흡사한 녀석이 있었는데 급히 일행들 뒤를 쫓느라고 이따가 담아야지 하고는 담지 못한 게 아쉽다.

 

 

 

 

줄기 위쪽 잎이다.

줄기잎은 선형 또는 피침형으로 길이 1~4cm, 폭 1~10mm, 가장자리는 밋밋하고 잎자루는 없다.

더러 얕은 거치가 드물게 나타나기도 한다

 

줄기 아래 부분에는 긴 백색털이 많이 발달한다

 

뿌리잎은 우상으로 갈라져 있다.

 

산장대나 묏장대 모두 뿌리잎은 우성으로 갈라지는데

산장대는 정우편이 매우 큰데 비하여 묏장대는 정우편이 크게 발달하지는 않다.

 

묏장대는 잎 양면에 2~3갈래로 갈라진 털이 있다고 한다.

 

원본을 확인하니 뿌리잎 표면에 긴 털이 있는 게 보인다.

털 끝부분이 차상으로 갈라진 모습도 드물게 보인다.

잎 뒷면의 털은 확인하지 못하였다.
