뜨거운 여름, 폭염의 폭력이 아직도 발광질이다.

연못은 아직 고요하기만 하여 참통발과 함참을 놀았다.

 

톡톡톡!!!

12시가 넘어서자  작은 연못에 꼬마수련이 꽃잎을 열기 시작한다.

마치 하얀 별이 쏟아져 내린 듯 연못이 온통 작은 수련 꽃송이로 가득하다.

옆에서 쳐다 봐도 위에서 내려다 봐도 작은 꼬마수련은 한결같은 아름다움이었다.

 

2016년 이 녀석이 각시수련과 다른 녀석이란 걸 발견하여 세상에 이름을 알리게 되었다.

각시수련보다 꽃과 잎이 더 크고 꽃받침과 꽃잎이 더 넓다.

	꽃의 지름	꽃잎	잎
각시수련	3cm, 꽃받침 좁고 긴 타원형	10장 내외 좁고 긴타원형	길이 2~5cm, 너비 2~4cm
꼬마수련(2016년발표)	5cm, 꽃받침 사각형 형태	10장 내외 더 넓고 짧은타원형	10cm

 

각시수련에 비하여 꽃잎이 넓고 꽃받침도 넓다.
