10년 전에 마지막으로 봤던가?  참 오랜만에 이 녀석 얼굴을 들여다 본다

매년 석호를 찾아 가긴 했지만 봄철에 집중되어서 한 여름에는 가 본지가 까마득한 것 같다.

 

수련은 오전에 꽃을 피우고 오후 2시 쯤 되면 서서히 꽃잎을 접기 시작하는데

각시수련은 오후 2시 쯤 되어서야 꽃잎을 열기 시작하는 게으름뱅이다.

 

그래서 12시가 조금 넘은 시각 이 녀석 꽃잎을 제대로 열고 있을까 걱정이었는데

다행하게도 어느 정도 잘 피어 있어서 충분히 담을 수가 있었다.

 

꽃이 작다고 해서 '애기수련' 이란 이명도 가지고 있다.

2016년에 각시보다는 조금 더 큰 꼬마수련이 발표 보고되었다.

꼬마수련(2016년발표)	5cm, 꽃받침 사각형 형태	10장 내외 더 넓고 짧은타원형	10cm

 

 

 

꽃의 지름은 3cm 내외이다.

긴 타원형인 꽃받침 조각은 4개이고 녹색이며 길이 1.5cm 정도로 끝이 뾰족하다.

10장 안팎인 피침형 꽃잎은 여러 줄로 늘어서서 배열하며 길이가 1.5cm 정도이다.

 

말굽 모양인 잎은 뿌리에서 여러 장 나와 화살 모양으로 갈라지고 물 위에 뜨며 길이는 2~5cm, 너비 2~4cm이다.

잎의 밑부분은 심장 모양이고 끝이 날카로우며 윗부분보다 약간 길고 두껍다.
