푸조나무(팽나무과 푸조나무속) Aphananthe aspera (Thunb.) Planch.

욘석은 팽나무속이 아니라 푸조나무속으로 별도의 속을 가지고 있다.

팽나무속 녀석들 중에서 잎을 이렇게 무성하게 달고 꽃을 피우는 녀석은 없을 거다.

 

엽형이 팽나무속과는 다르다. 잎이 장타원형이고 측맥이 많고 잎 끝이 뾰족하다

열매자루는 짧으며 열매는 커서 다른 팽나무속 나무들과 구분이 된다.

 

수꽃화서는 햇가지 기부가지에 달리고 암꽃은 새가지 위쪽 잎 겨드랑이에 한 개씩 달린다.

암꽃이다. 새가지 위쪽에 하나씩 달린다.

자방은 백색털이 덮고 있다.

2개로 갈라진 오리 부리같은 암술이 보인다

 

잎은 난형으로 끝이 뾰족하고 톱니가 날카롭다.

표면은 매우 거칠고 잎 뒷면에는 누운털이 있다.

잎자루는 짧고 털이 있으며 측맥은  7~12쌍이다.
