연화바위솔(돌나물과 바위솔속) Orostachys iwarenge (Makino) H.Hara

여태 정선바위솔로 불러주던 녀석을 모두 연화바위솔로 정리해야 할 거 같다.

둥근바위솔 중 가지가 많이 치는 것을 가지바위솔, 연화바위솔 중 가지가 치지 않는 것을 정선바위솔이라고 기재한 것이

이 혼란의 원인을 제공한 것 같다고 한다.

 

식물이 환경과 생육조건에 따라 생태가 좀 달리 나타나는 것을 두고 이를 구분하다 보니 이렇게 왈가왈부하게 만든 것이다.

가지를 치지 않는 정선바위솔도 이듬해 자라는 녀석들한테서 가지를 치는 모습을 볼 수가 있고,

같은 장소에서도 가지를 치거나 가지가 없는 녀석들이 함께 공존하고 있는 모습을 볼 수가 있다.

그러니 가지를 지고 안 치고를 가지고 분류를 한다는 건 큰 의미가 없을 것이다.

 

헌데 헌데 DNA 코드상으로도 둥근바위솔과 가지바위솔의 형질이 다르게 나온다고 한다
