2015. 6. 초순. 서해안.
새벽길 출발 덕분에 여유 있는 시간을 보내며 해안가 폐염전을 어슬렁거리는데
"아줌마~! 거기서 뭐해욧~! "
날카로운 고함소리에 고개를 들어 보니
"염초 따면 안되욧!"
아하~!! 입구에 염초 따면 고발한다는 팻말이 있더니만
너른 폐 염전을 어슬렁 거리니까 내가 염초를 따는 줄 알았던 모양이다.
카메라를 들어 흔들어 보이면서 사진 찍는다고 소리치니
그제사 사나운 기세를 좀 누그러뜨리면서
"염초 따치마세요" 한다
폐염전 구석 구석 나문재, 방석나물 퉁퉁마디, 해홍나물이 자연스럽게 자라고 있었다
염초를 관리해서 소득을 올리는 모양인데
아마도 들락거리는 사람들이 염초를 더러 따는 모양인 것 같다
한 시간이나 해안을 돌면서 이것 저것 담다가 팬션 부근에서 갯개미자리 녀석과 씨름을 하고 있더니
예의 그 남자가 지나면서 보고는 뭐 그런 것을 들여다 보고 사진 찍느냐고 한 마디 던진다
ㅎ....아자씨가 요런 녀석 들여다 보는 재미를 이해할 수 있겠수?
생긴 모양과 이름이 참 잘 어울리는 녀석이다.
