고려엉겅퀴(국화과)

추석이 텁텁한 막걸리 뒷맛 같은 답답한 한증막 기온을 뒷걸음질 치게 하였나 보다.

투덜거리는 경운기도 나무 그늘에서 휴식 중인데 기름새 꽃이삭 늘어진 들길에서 한껏 여유를 부린다.

보라색 가을로 산자락은 환상적이다. 터지는 고려엉겅퀴 꽃술에 잠시 피곤한 시선을 위로 받는다.

 

 

 

정선에 가면 곤드레나물밥이 유명하다. 두어 번 먹어 본 적이 있는데 곤드레나물은 고려엉겅퀴를 이르는 다른 이름이라 한다.

곤드레 어린싹 묵나물과 특이한 양념장이 입맛을 돋구는 메뉴인데 꽤 맛있게 먹은 기억이 있다.

 

 

 

자주색 두상화가 가지 끝과 원줄기 끝에 위를 향해 1개씩 달린다. 총포는 구상 종형이고 길이 20mm, 나비 20-30mm로서

거미줄같은 털이 밀생하며 포편은 7줄로 배열되고 끝이 뾰족하며 뒷면에 점질이 있다

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

경생엽은 호생하며 중앙부의 잎은 엽병이 있고 난형 또는 타원상 피침형이며 끝이 대개 뾰족하고 밑부분이 절저 또는 넓은 예저이며 길이 15~35cm로서 표면은 녹색이고 털이 약간 있으며 뒷면은 흰빛이 돌고 털이 없으며 가장자리가 밋밋하거나 가시같은 톱니가 있다.

윗부분의 잎은 작고 긴 타원상 피침형, 피침형 또는 선상 피침형이며 끝이 대개 뾰족하고 엽병이 짧으며 가장자리에 바늘같은 톱니가 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

높이가 1m에 달하며 곧게 서고 상부에서 많은 가지가 갈라진다.
