왕과(박과)

이 녀석을 보려고 일주일 전부터 들먹거리다가 이제사 찾았다.

출장에서 돌아오는 길을 일부러 높은 재를 넘는 길을 택하여 5시 쯤 무사히 도착하였다.

 

장마 기운이 있는 하늘은 온통 잿빛 구름이라 다소 어두웠지만 그런대로 담을 정도의 밝기는 되었다.

모기 떼가 극성이었지지만 미리 준비해 간 모기약 덕을 톡톡히 보았다.

 

이 녀석도 암꽃과 수꽃이 다른 포기인 암수딴그루이다. 암꽃은 호박이나 참외처럼 꽃 아래 작은 열매가 달려 있다.

뿌리는 괴경으로 감자 같은 덩이 뿌리가 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 호생, 잎자루는 길고, 잎모양은 참외잎과 같으며 엽저가 심장형으로 앞 뒷면과 잎자루에 털이 많다.
