붉은하늘타리(박과 하늘타리속) Trichosanthes cucumeroides (Ser.) Maxim.

5월 남도의 어느 섬에서 만났던 ㅈ샘이 몇 해 관찰 중인 하늘타리가 있다는 이야기에 한 번 볼 기회를 얻고 싶어했더니

백두산에 가 있는 동안에 꽃을 확인하러 간다고 연락이 왔다.

일정이 조정되어서 뒤로 미루어 졌지만 꼭 보고싶었기에 모든 걸 뒤로하고 따라 나섰다.

 

7시 경에 우선 장소와 꽃 상태를 확인하였더니 봉오리 끝이 살짝 벌어지려 하고 있다.

이 녀석은 아주 특이하게 화관이 무척 길고 노란색의 줄이 있었는데

암꽃 봉오리를 찾았더니 긴 화관 아래 살짝 볼록한 타원형의 자방이 달려 있다.

 

잎은 오이나 가시박처럼 양면에 파삭거리는 느낌의 털이 밀생하고 있었고 엽질이 노랑하늘타리에 비하여 얇고 거치도 자잘하고 얕았다.

암꽃이다. 힌 화관 아래 약간 볼록한 자방이 보인다

 

 

꽃이 진 녀석은 타원형의 열매 형태가 제법 형성되어 있다,

긴 화관과는 대조적으로 화경이 짧았다

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

노랑하늘타리 잎과 함께 엉겨 있어서 비교하기 안성맞춤이었다
