흰털괭이눈(범의귀과)1

곶자왈 내창가에 흰털괭이눈이 게슴츠레 눈을 뜨고 있다. 꽃샘 추위로 다시 추워진 날씨와 바람으로 손가락 끝이 얼얼하다.

흰털괭이눈은 줄기와 잎 앞뒷면에 긴 털이 많은 녀석으로 포엽은 녹색이고 털괭이눈속 중에서 포엽에 비하여 꽃이 가장 큰 녀석이다.

 

털괭이눈(C. pilosum) 변종에 대한 정리

꽃이 필 때 <천마괭이눈>은 꽃과 더불어 포엽 전체가 노랗게 변하고,

<누른괭이눈>은 포엽의 중간 정도만 노랗게 변한다.(누른괭이눈에 대한 논문이 2009년에 발표가 되었다고 함)

                 누른괭이눈의 무성지(꽃이 피지 않은 어린 신초) 잎에는 흰 줄무늬가 뚜렷하다.

<큰괭이눈(흰털괭이눈)>은 꽃만 노란색이고 포엽은 그냥 녹색이다. 

 

포엽에 대한 꽃의 크기 비율은 큰괭이눈> 천마괭이눈>누른괭이눈 순으로 작아진다.

큰괭이눈(흰털괭이눈)은 포엽에 비해서 꽃이 가장 크고, 누른괭이눈은 포엽에 비해서 꽃이 매우 작다.
