2월에 어느 오름에서 모람 종류 어린 줄기를 담아가서 왕모람입네 좀모람입네 여기 저기 알아 본 적이 있다.
모람과 애기모람도 무화과나무나 천선과처럼 열매같은 은화서(화낭)곳에 작은 꽃이 숨어 있는 즉 무화과나무다.
<애기모람>
열매가 커서 왕모람이라는 불리기도 했지만
식물체가 크고 열매가 더 큰 왕모람은 국내에서는 자생하지 않고 아열대 지역에 자생한다
.
열매는 모람보다 크지만 잎은 모람보다 더 작아서 애기모람으로 새롭게 정리가 되었다.
암수한그루로서 꽃이 액생하여 7-8월에 수꽃과 암꽃 모두 주머니같이 생긴 은화서(隱花序)속에 밀생한다.
열매는 수과로 거친 털이 있으며, 둥근 모양으로
자루가 있고, 지름이 2cm 정도 된다
.
애기모람은 잎맥이 움푹하니 들어가 있고 길이 1-5㎝, 나비 1-2㎝인 난형 또는 타원형이다.
길이5-10㎜인 엽병에는적갈색의 털이 밀생한다.1-5쌍의 엽맥이 있다
.
어린 싹의 잎은 1㎝ 이하로 가장자리에 2-3개의 파형의 거치가 있다.
좀 자란 가지의 잎은 거치가 사라지면서 엽맥은 그대로 움푹 들어가 있다.
<모람>
이 녀석은 모람이다. 모람 잎은 더 크고 길며 잎자루가 길고 앞면의 광택이 강하고 그물맥이 뚜렷하다.
열매는 은화과로 열매 자루가 없고 구형이며
지름 1-1.2cm이고 왕모람(2cm)에 비하여 작다.10월에서 다음 해 1월 사이에 흑자색으로 성숙한다
