망개나무(갈매나무과 망개나무속) 열매 Berchemia berchemiifolia (Makino) Koidz.

망개나무는 청송 주왕산에 주로 자생하는 특산식물로 알고 있었는데

낙동강 흐르는 산자락에도 망개나무 열매가 자라고 있다니 꽃동무가 이 골짝 저 골짝으로 살피러 다니다가 발견한 거였다.

 

퇴근을 하면서 곧장 망개나무가 있는 곳으로 달렸다. 쇠채도 많이 보았다기에 그도 확인할 겸해서.

광대싸리며, 벼랑 위의 털중나리도 담으면서 임도를 따라 천천히 걸어 가 보니 임도 아랫 쪽에 여러 그루가 보인다.  

 

비탈을 몇 발짝 내려가서 조심스럽게 버티면서 조금 낮은 망개나무 가지 부여잡고 자잘한 열매를 담았다.

 

 

 

 

열매는 핵과로 좁고 긴타원형이고 길이 7~8mm로서 가을(8~9월)에 먼저 노란빛이 돌고 그 뒤 붉게 되며

나중에는 암적색으로 되어 성숙한다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 호생하며 긴 타원형 또는 난상 긴 타원형이고 점첨두이며 예저 또는 원저이고 길이 7~12cm, 나비 3-5cm로서

표면에 털이 없으며 뒷면 분백색으로서 털이 없거나 맥액 근처에 털이 있고 가장자리는 밋밋하거나 뚜렷하지 않은 파상의 톱니가 있으며

엽병은 길이 6-10mm로서 털이 없다.

 

 

 

가지는 적갈색이고 작은 피목이 산재하며 원줄기는 곧게 자라지만 가지는 늘어지고 수피는 세로로 잘게 갈라진다.
