산외(박과 산외속)

임도 풀 숲에 덩굴식물이 눈에 띈다. 참외 잎, 수세미 잎처럼 생긴 산외다.

그냥 갈까 하다가 특별한 종류만 담다가 나중에 담아오지 않은 걸 꼭 후회하게 되고 

꽃도 본 적이 없어서 어떻게 생겼나 들여다 보았더니

아고~~! 너무 작아서 맨눈으로 겨우 볼 수 있을 정도다.

꽃은 약간 누른 빛이 도는 백색이고 양성화주(兩性花株)와 웅화주(雄花株)가 있으며

수꽃은 총상화서에 달리고 양성화는 각 엽액에 1개씩 달린다.

꽃받침잎은 피침형이며 화관은 지름 5mm정도로서 5개로 갈라지고

열편은 난상 피침형이며 수술은 3개이고 암술대는 3개로 갈라진 다음 다시 2개로 갈라진다.

잎은 호생하며 엽병이 길고 심원형 또는 난상 심장형이며 끝이 뾰족하고 밑부분이 심장저이며

길이와 폭이 각각 5-12cm로서 표면은 흔히 털이 산생하고 맥 위에 잔털이 있으며

 5-7개로 희미하게 얕게 갈라지고 밑부분이 넓고 낮은 톱니의 끝이 뾰족하다.
