너무 흔해서 한 번도 담아주지 않았더니 자료가 없다.
한 번 쯤은 담아 줘야 비교 자료도 만들겠다 싶어서 우선 큰까치수염을 담았다.
이 녀석은 민까치수염이라고도하는데 이름 그대로 까치수염에 비하여 털이 거의 없다.

원줄기 끝에서 한쪽으로 굽은 총상화서가 나와서 백색 꽃이 밀착하며
화서는 길이 10-20cm이지만 결실기에는 길이가 40cm에 이른다.
소화경은 길이 6-10mm로서 잔털이 있으며 밑부분에 선상의 포가 달린다.
꽃부분은 5수이고 꽃받침잎과 꽃잎은 좁고 긴 타원형이며 지름 8-12mm이고 암술은 1개이다.
잎은 호생하며 타원상 피침형이고 길이 6-14cm, 넓이 2-5cm로서
끝이 뾰족하며 밑부분이 점차 좁아져서 원줄기에 달리거나 길이 1-2cm의 엽병으로 되고
원주형이며 곧게 서고 줄기의 아래 쪽은 약간 붉은빛을 띤다.
