몽골식물-골담초속6-가시털골담초(콩과 골담초속) Caragana jubata(Pall.) Poir.

울리아스타이 고산을 오르기 직전 얕은 계곡 물길에서 만난 골담초속이 무척 신기했다

몽골에서는 5종의 골담초속의 관목을 만났지만 이 녀석은 여태 보지 못한 처음 만나는 녀석이었다.

고산지대나 고비사막의 척박한 환경에 자라는 녀석으로 가늘고 긴 가시와 털로 싸여있는데
가지가 발달하지 않고 선인장 모양을 하고 있어서 아주 특이하고 이색적인 식물이었다.

 

이미지 검색을 해 보니

몽골에 분포하는 13종의 골담초속 중 6번째로 만나게 된 골담초속 Caragana jubata 녀석이었다.

이 녀석이 온 몸을 두르고 있는게 가시인 줄 알았더니 잎이 떨어진 엽축이 오랫동안 남아서 가시처럼 보이고 있단다.

알타이식물 탐사기를 출판한 김찬수박사가 가시털골담오로 명명을 하여 그 이름을 기록한다.

 

2026년 몽골식물 탐사에서 2종의 새로운 골담초속 녀석을 추가하게 되었다.

 

중앙아시아, 시베리아, 중국, 몽골, 인도, 네팔이 원산지이다.
