골담초(콩과)

2009. 4. 18. 산사 가는 길.

 

이런 행운이? 오늘  야생에서 골담초를 처음 만났다.

 출퇴근 길 어느 집 담 옆에 노랗게 핀 걸 보고 담아야겠다고 생각했었는데.

 깽깽이밭에 들렀다가 돌아오는 길에 나좀 보고 가라고 배실배실 거리고 있었다.

 

1m 정도의 크기와 노란 콩꽃같은 꽃으로 줄기는 곧추서서 모여 자라며 가시가 나 있다

 잎은 어긋나며 잔잎 4장으로 이루어졌는데, 잔잎은 타원형이며 잎가장자리는 밋밋하다.

 

 한방에서 무릎뼈가 쑤시거나 다리가 부을 때 또는 신경통에 쓰고 있으며,  뿌리로 술을 빚어 마시기도 한다.

관목으로 꽃도 풍성하고 약재로 쓰인는 덕분에 집안 뜰이나 공원에도 심고 있다.
