몽골에는 다양한 골담초속 식물이 많은 것 같은데 그 중 4종은 보았다.
가장 흔하게 만났던 게 Caragana leucophloea와 좁은잎골담초였다.
이 녀석은 서북부 지역 공항이 있는 큰 도시에서 만났다.
도로변 작은 정원에 울타리로 조경해 두어서 열심히 담았는데 자생 상태로는 만나지 못하였다.
