바위산 건조한 바위 틈에 짧은 가지 끝이 가시화되어 있고

두껍고 광택 있는 작은 잎의 바짝 낮은 키로 앉아 있는 관목이다.

 

열매가 익으면 저절로 벌어져서 핵과 씨앗이 드러나는데 주민들은 이 열매를 채취한다고 한다
