복사앵도(장미과 벚나무속) 열매 Prunus choreiana Nakai ex H. T. Im

석회암 지대 산지의 양지바른 곳에 나는 낙엽 활엽 떨기나무로 높이 2~3m 정도로 자란다.

복숭아나무나 벚나무와 비슷하지만 꽃잎이 1cm, 너비 5mm로 좁으며, 씨방에 털이 없고, 암술대 기부에 털이 있는 점에서 구분하며, 외형상 자두나무와 비슷하다.

 

올해는 이 녀석 꽃을 보러 가 봐야 할 것 같다.
