보현개별꽃(석죽과 개별꽃속) Pseudostellaria × bohyeonsanensis M.Kim & H.Jo

간신히 찾았다.!!

2시간을 뒤졌다. 부슬거리는 비를 맞으면서.

 

보현산에서 발견이 되어 이름을 얻은 보현개별꽃은 태백개별꽃과 덩굴개별꽃의 교잡종이라 결실은 안된다.

 

아직 늦둥이 태백개별꽃이 꽃을 피우는 게 있긴 하지만

4월 24일에 한창 꽃을 피우던 태백 개별꽃은 이미 대부분 열매를 달고 고개를 땅에 박을 듯이 축 늘어져 있다.

그 때 마악 피기 시작하던 덩굴개별꽃은 지금 한창 꽃을 피우고 있어서  태백과 덩굴의 개화 절정 시기가 약간 차이가 있다.

 

테크 주변을 뒤지면서 일단 태백 비슷한 녀석의 꽃잎이 5~6장이 나타나면

꽃자루와 꽃받침의 털을 확인하는데 털이 전혀 보이지 않거나 계속 덩굴개별꽃과 같은 털만 보였다.

꽃이 진 녀석 중에서도 꽃받침이 5개로 보이는 녀석을 만져 보면 도돌한 열매가 느껴져서 보현이가 아닌 것이 확인이 된다.

 

보현이는 결실이 안되는 쭉쟁이기 때문에 열매의 느낌이 없다.

쭉쟁이라도 꽃자루와 꽃받침이 털이 없이 매끈 한 녀석이라 이는 수정이 안 된 태백이다.

 

결국 남사면 테크 주변에서는 찾지 못하고 북사면 비탈에서 겨우 찾았다.

 

몸체는 큰개별꽃을 닮았고, 꽃잎이 5~6장에 끝이 둔한 원형, 꽃자루에 털이 있고 꽃받침에는 털이 드물게 있는 녀석.

이 녀석이 보현개별꽃이다. 

 

 

꽃잎은 덩굴개별꽃처럼  끝이 둔하다

 

꽃자루에 털이 있다.

 

태백개별꽃은 꽃자루에 털이 없지만 이 녀석은 꽃자루에 털이 있다.

 

이 번의 녀석들은 꽃받침의 성근 털이 손가락에 꼽을 정도로 적게 나타났다.

 

아래 녀석은 몇 년 전에 만난 보현개별꽃이다. 꽃받침의 성근 털이 더 나타난다.

 

공무를 수행 중이라 한포기 표본을 채집 해야 했다.
