4울 23일 이곳에 왔을 때 아무 것도 보이지 않더니만 드뎌 보고자 하던 태백개별꽃이 별처럼 가득하게 피어 있었다.
그 뿐 아니라 숲개별꽃 까지 피어서 뿌리를 확인할 수 있었으니 어린이날 선물이 짭짤하다.
이 녀석은 큰개별꽃과 매우 흡사하지만 꽃대가 잎의 길이 2배 정도로 매우 길고 열매가 익으면 아래로 길게 늘어지는 특징이 있다.
태백개별꽃 Pseudostellaria pendula S. Lee
꽃자루가 잎보다 두배 쯤 길고 열매가 열리면 고개를 숙이며 암술이 3~5 갈래이다.
큰개별꽃 Pseudostellaria palibiniana (Takeda) Ohwi
꽃자루가 잎보다 짧고 열매가 달려도 꼿꼿하게 서며 암술이 2~3갈래다.
꽃받침은 녹색이며 5-7개로 갈라지고 털이 약간 있으며 수술은 10개이며 꽃밥은 황색이다.
높이 10-20cm이고 줄기의 마디 사이가 짧으며 털이 2줄로 돋고 흰털이 있다.
꽃잎은 6~8장이었고
꽃자루에 털이 없다
암술대는 2개인데 끝부분이 다시 2갈래 져서 암술이 4개다
꽃잎은 끝이 불규칙하게 홈이 져 있다
줄기에 두 줄로 난 흰털이 보인다.
작년에 담은 열매의 모습이다. 잎 길이의 2배 정도 길다란 과경 끝에 열매가 아래로 늘어져 있다.
