덩굴개별꽃(석죽과 개별꽃속) Pseudostellaria davidii (Franch.) Pax ex Pax & Hoffm.

줄기는 연하고 흰색 털이 나며, 다 자라면 50cm에 이른다.

꽃이 핀 다음 덩굴지며 길게 뻗으며, 끝이 실처럼 가늘어지고 땅에 닿으면 뿌리가 난다.

잎은 마주나고 잎자루가 없으며, 달걀 모양이다.  굵은 원뿔 모양 뿌리가 1개 있다. 

 

 

꽃자루에는 털이 한 줄로 난다. 꽃받침잎은 5장, 뒷면에 흰색 털이 많다. 

 

꽃잎은 5장으로 끝이 둥글고 꽃받침보다 2배 쯤 길다. 수술은 10개, 암술대는 2개다. 

 

덩굴개별꽃은 줄기에 달린 잎이 한 마디당 2개씩 마주보기로 달리는데 마디와 마디 사이의 간격이 어느 정도 일정하다.

개별꽃이나 큰개별꽃, 태백개별꽃 등은 잎의 크기가 일정하지 않고 위쪽 잎의 마디 사이가 좁아서 돌려나는 것 처럼 보이기도 한다.

 

꽃이 줄기 끝에서 피지 않고, 꽃이 진 후에 줄기가 덩굴지어 자라고 줄기 끝부분은 잘 구부러지며 덩굴처럼 엉킨다.
