꽃동무가 육지의 큰개별꽃 뿌리를 좀 확인해 달라고 한다.
사찰 숲에 큰개별꽃이 있긴 했는데 개화 시기도 늦었고 그리 많지를 않아서 뒤뚱거리면서 다니다가 찾는데 성공하엿다.
큰개별꽃은 높이 10-20cm이고 줄기의 마디 사이가 짧으며 털이 2줄로 돋고 흰털이 있다. 방추형의 백색 괴근이 있다.
그런데 이 녀석도 화경이 잎보다 2배 이상 길고 열매가 익을 때 아래로 늘어지는 모양이라 태백개별꽃으로 봐야겠다
잎은 대생하고 줄기 밑부분의 것은 주걱형 또는 도피침형이며 밑부분이 좁아져서 엽병처럼 되고 밑부분에 털이 있다.
줄기 윗부분에 달려 있는 2쌍의 잎은 특별히 크며 마디사이가 짧고 십자형으로 배열된다
