비쭈기/황칠나무 어린순

새의 부리 모양의 뾰족한 동아를 가지고 있다고 해서 비쭈기라 한다

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

계곡 가장자리에 자생하고 있는 황칠나무다.

황칠나무는 나무의 수액을 이용하여 가구나 갑옷 등에 황금색 칠을 하는 도료를 채취하였다고 해서 황칠나무라 부른다.

황칠나무는 제주도와 완도 보길도에 주로 집단적으로 서식을 하는 난대성 상록수로 

 잎이 난형 또는 타원형으로 3~5개의 결각으로 갈라지기도 한다.
