비쭈기나무(차나무과 비쭈기나무속) 새순 Cleyera japonica Thunb.

이 녀석 이름이 참 재미있다. 삐쭉하니 성을 잘 내서 그런 게 아니고

겨울 눈을 보면 굉장히 비쭉하니 길다.  

 

 

잎은 2줄로 호생하고 두꺼우며 혁질이고 좁고 긴 타원형 또는 난상 긴 타원형이며 예두이고 둔저 또는 예저이며

길이 1~12cm, 폭은 2~4cm로서 양면에 털이 없다.

표면은 진록색에 광택이 있으며 뒷면은 황록색이고 가장자리가 밋밋하며 엽병은 길이 3-10mm로서 털이 없다

수피는 자록색을 띠며 매끄럽다. 어린가지는 각이 져 있고 녹색이며,

동아는 한 개의 아린으로 싸여 있고 새발톱 모양으로 구부러져

있으며 털이 없다

 

열매는 난형이며 직경이 0.8~1cm 로서 10월에 흑색으로 익으며, 종자는 많다
