참가시나무(참나무과 가시나무속)

이 녀석은 가시나무속 중에서도 꽃이 핀 후 어린 열매가 해를 넘겨서 이듬해 가을이 되어야 결실이 되는 종이다

근연종에 비하여 잎 가장자리의 톱니가 매우 날카로우며 잎 뒷면의 분백색이 강하다.

 

 

지난 봄부터 달려 있던 어린 열매다. 새 봄이 오면 서서히 성장하여 가을에 결실을 한다.
