졸가시나무(참나무과 가시나무속) 열매

조경수로 많이 이용하는 녀석이다

수목원에 심겨진 녀석을 멀리서 보니 열매가 다글다글하다.

 

아래 모습은 올해 꽃을 피운 암꽃 자방으로 아직 열매의 모습이 잘 나타나지 않고 있다.

구실잣밤나무 열매처럼 2년에 걸쳐서 익는데 열매가 익을 때 까지 암술이 남아 있다.

 

 

 

암술은 3갈래로 갈라진다

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

일년지 가지에는 누른 털이 밀포하고 있다

 

 

 

 

 

 

요 열매가 이제 2년 차에 들어가는 열매로 올 가을에 익게 된다.
