졸가시나무(참나무과 참나무속) 꽃

참나무속과 가시나무속 녀석들이 꽃을 피우고 있으니 이 녀석도 꽃을 피우지 않을까 싶었다.

헌데 아직은 좀 이른 것 같다. 화서가 맺히긴 했는데 꽃밥이 아직 터지지 않았다.

 

일본과 중국에 분포하는데 우리 나라에서 조경수로 드물게 심기도 한다.

 잎이 작고 상반부에만 톱니가 있으며 열매가 졸참나무와 비슷하다

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

암꽃을 찾으려고 눈싸움을 했는데 카메라에 잡힌 게 암꽃이 아니라 새순이 나올 부분 같다.
