마을을 배회하다가 만난 녀석이다.
두꺼운 잎과 뒤로 젖힌 화피 열편과 붉은 꽃술이 매력적인 녀석으로 서귀포쪽 상록수에 주로 기생을 한다
구실잣밤나무, 동백나무, 후박나무, 삼나무, 생달나무, 까마귀쪽나무 등을 숙주로 하고 있다.
이 녀석도 까마귀쪽나무를 접수하여 셋방살이를 하고 있었는데
이미 동글동글 열매가 맺혀 있고 늦둥이 녀석들이 마지막 결실을 위해 노력 중이다.
