쑥(국화과 쑥속)

가까운 대학에 흰꽃광대나물 때문에 몇 번 만났던 젊은 박사가 있다

그 친구는 [한국산 쑥속의 계통분류학전 연구]란 논문으로 박사 학위를 취득하였는데

몇 가지 식물을 안내하여 주어서 고맙다고 자신의 학위 논문을 보내 주었다.

 

올해도 쑥속 녀석들을 여러 번 담아 놓고도 제대로 공부하지 못하여 뒷방에 밀쳐 두었었는데

그 논문 덕분에 밀쳐 두었던 쑥속을 이제사 정리를 하였다.

 

헌데 아타깝게도 지난 11월 초에 젊은 친구는 갑자기 쓰러져서 의식을 잃고 병원에 누워 있다고 한다

참으로 예의 바르고 성실하고 학구적인 인상이었던 그 청년, 어서 일어나길 바랄 뿐이다.

 

 

 

원줄기에 종선이 있고 전체가 거미줄같은 털로 덮여 있으며 윗쪽에 가서 가지를 친다.

 

 

 

 

 

경생엽은 가탁엽이 있고 타원형이며 길이 6~12cm, 나비 4~8cm로서 밑부분은 회백색 밀모가 있고 우상으로 깊게 또는 중앙까지 갈라진다.

열편은 2-4쌍으로서 긴 타원상 피침형이고 둔두 또는 예두이다.

 

 

 

뒷면에 백색 털이 밀생하고 가장자리가 밋밋하거나 결각상이며 위로 올라갈수록 잎이 작아지고 3개로 갈라진다.
