야광나무 봉오리 꽃색이 붉은색을 많이 띠고 있어서 좀 특별하다.
개화 초기의 붉은색은 연해 지면서 사라지긴 하지만 마악 개화를 준비하고 있는 모습이 곱다.
여태 야광나무라 생각했던 커다란 흰꽃이 피는 녀석을 다시 살펴 본 결과 잎 뒷면에 백색털이 밀생하고 꽃받침 안쪽에도 털이 있는 털야광나무였다.
야광나무는 털야광나무보다 꽃이 작고 꽃받침 조각에도 털이 없다고 한다.
헌데 이 녀석은 잎의 크기가 여태 봐왔던 녀석들보다 작고 화경도 유난히 길다.
꽃색 또한 붉은 기운이 매우 강하니....이 녀석을 야광나무로 봐야 할까?
야광나무 : 잎 표면에 털이 있다가 사라진다. 잎자루와 꽃받침 안쪽에 털이 없다. 잎 끝이 점차 뾰족
털야광나무 : 야광나무에 비하여 잎과 꽃이 크고, 잎 뒷면과 잎자루, 엽병, 어린 가지, 꽃받침 안쪽에 털이 있다. 잎 끝이 급히 뾰족
아그배나무 : 어린가지에 털, 어린 잎에 털, 꽃받침 양면과 화경에 털, 어린 가지 잎에 결각이 나타남, 잎에 예리한 톱니
어린 잎이라 그런지 몰라도 잎자루와 잎양면에도 털이 보인다
헌데 이 녀석은 꽃잎에도 털이 있고 꽃받침 안쪽에도 잔털이 있다. 아그배나무 쪽일까?
