아그배나무(장미과 사과나무속) 열매 Malus toringo (Siebold) Siebold ex de Vriese

전국이 폭염으로 끓고 있다. 동해안에 조사할 게 있더서 해수욕장 가까이 들렀다가 어마 뜨거워라 하고 부리나케 차를 돌렸다

피서객들 차량으로 꽉 찬 주차장과 북적거리는 피서객들로 오히려 답답하여 더위를 마중가는 꼴이 되었기 때문이다

 

어느 석호에서 푹푹 찌는 열기와 키를 넘게 우거진 풀과 나무들을 헤치다가 찾으려던 것은 보지도 못하고 땀만 잔뜩 흘렸다. 

석호 주변에 심겨져 있던 아그배나무 열매가 하도 풍성하여 잠시 숨을 돌린다.

 

열매 모습은 야광나무와 흡사하지만 잎을 보면 결각이 있어서 구분이 된다.
