참오글잎버들(버드나무과)

이 녀석을 보려고 멀리까지 갔다고 하면 다들 어이 없어 할지 모른다.

그동안 만나 보지 못한 버드나무 종류를 세심하게 관찰해 보려고 하던 터라.

이 녀석 보러 가려는데 함께 가지 않겠냐는 꽃동무의 제의를 넙죽 받아들일 수 밖에.

 

아마 꽃술이 터졌을 것 같다기에 신이 나서 따라 나섰는데....

남쪽이라지만 아직은 버드나무 꽃술이 터지기엔 이른가 보다.

 

이 녀석은 새잎이 돋을 때 뒤로 심하게  말려서 나오는데 새잎이 자라면서도 한동안 뒤로 말리는 특징이 있다고 한다

그래서 참오글잎버들이란 이름을 얻은 듯 싶은데 <참> 이란 접두어가 붙은 걸 보면 <오글잎버들>이 있어야 할 터인데 검색이 안 된다.

 

너무 일찍 찾아가서 꽃술도 터진 걸 못 보았으니 새순을 기대하는 건 어리석은 희망 사항이고....

한 번 더 발걸음 해야 쓰겄는디....에고야!.....시간이 날랑가 모르겄다.

 

꽃눈 사이가 매우 조밀하고 겨울눈이 아주 길고 가늘어서 다른 버드나무류와 구별하기 쉬운 녀석이다.

 

어떤 가지의 꽃봉오리는 화경이 꽤 있는 것도 보인다.

 

난형의 포가 검은색을 띠고 있어서 꽃봉오리가 대체로 검게 보인다

 

 

 

 

겨울눈은 긴 타원형으로 가늘다.

어린 가지는 붉은색을 띠거나 황록색을 띤다

 

 

 

 

수피는 회록색이고 평활하며 다이아몬드 모양의 피목이 있었다.

 

 

 

 

잔 가지가 많이 발달하고

 

 

 

 

관목 또는 소교목으로 3~6m 까지 자란다.
