여우버들(버드나무과)

드뎌 여우버들을 확신하다.

호랑버들과 많이 닮은 이 녀석의 잎을 두고 두어 해 끙끙거리다가 올해 꽃을 보고 드디어 여우버들로 방망이를 두드린다.

 

여우버들은 잎에 거치가 없으며 호랑버들에 비하여 잎 표면이 매끈하고 화서가 성글고 열매가 엉성하다.

동아도 보면 통통한 호랑이에 비하여 여우는 빈대처럼 납작하게 붙어 있다

 

헌데 몇 해 전 강원도에서 담아서 호랑버들로 정리해 두었던 엉성한 녀석도 다시 살피니 여우버들이었던 것을.

그 때는 여우버들의 존재에 대하여 제대로 몰랐을 때니 알고 있는 게 호랑버들이라 그리 정리를 해 놓았던 모양이다

 

수꽃의 포를 보면 호랑버들보다 짧고 끝이 둥글다. 수술도 호랑버들보다  엉성하다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

꽃자루가 길고 긴털이 있는 암꽃은 호랑버들처럼 다소 밀생하긴 한데

강원도에는 호랑버들과 여우버들의 중간형의 모습이 보이기도 한단다

 

 

 

 

 

호서는 호랑버들보다 다소 긴 편이다

호랑버들의 겨울눈은 통통한 모습인데 여우버들의 겨울눈은은 납작한 모습이다
