이번 주 울산에는 변산바람꽃 맞이 탐사객으로 산골짝이 북적거리지 싶다

출사하기에는 화창한 날씨지만 그 발아래 어린 꽃봉오리들이 짓이겨 지는 모습들 보는 것이 마음이 아파서 나는 움직이지 않았다.

 

아무래도 유난스러운 모습들을 볼 거는 뻔하고 그걸 그냥 넘기지 못하여 속이 상할 거니까 아예 안 보는 게 상책이기 때문이다.

주중 조용할 때 쯤 시간을 내어 볼지는 모르겠지만 붐비지 않는 다른 곳에서 여유롭게 만났으면 좋겠다.

 

따신 햇살 받으면서 가까운 백두대간 고개마루에 바람 쐬러 다녀왔다. 아직도 눈이 쌓인 이 고개에는 새로운 황태 덕장이 만들어져 있다.

대관령 황태 덕장만큼은 아니지만 고개 마루 남사면에 자리한 덕장은 밤낮 기온 차가 심하여 덕장으로는 아주 적당한 곳인 모양이다

 

 

고개 아래 면 소재지에 비가 내릴 때 이 고개에는 눈이 내려서 3월 중순까지도 눈이 쌓여 있는 곳이라

설중 앉은부채도 운 좋게 만날 수 있는 곳이다.

아직 눈이 녹지 않고 있는데 키버들이 고깔을 벗어 제끼고 갓 부화한 아기새같은 보드라운 털옷을 자랑하고 있다.

 

이 녀석의 꽃눈은 마주 자리를 잡고 있다.

꽃눈과 함께 잎눈도 가지 위쪽에서는 거의 마주나기이지만 아랫쪽에서는 어긋나기를 한다

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

갯버들도 뽀얀 털을 보소소 세웠다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

가을을 날려 보낸 빈 둥지의 흔적.

왜박주가리가 이 고개마루 길섶에 이렇게 터를 잡고 있었던 걸 몰랐다.

 

 

 

 

고갯마루에는 아직 겨울이 깊다.
