40분 남짓 걸리는 출퇴근 길은 변해가는 들과 숲의 나무들의 모습을 보는 즐거움이 함께 한다.
은사시나무가 진갈색 꽃을 피운지 10여 일, 더러 이태리포플러가 보이기도 하는데 아직 꽃은 피우지 않고 있다.
이태리포플러나 양버들은 10m 가 넘게 큰 키를 자랑하고 있으니 그 녀석들은 꽃을 담을 엄두도 낼 수가 없다.
자작나무나, 낙엽송, 참나무과는 아직도 움도 트지 않고 있는데
사나흘 전부터 호랑버들과 버드나무가 한창 꽃을 피우고 진달래도 붉게 얼굴을 내밀기 시작한다.
퇴근길 청량산 입구에서 버드나무 수꽃을 한참 들여다 보았다.
수꽃은 포엽이 타원형이고 짧은털이 있다. 수술은 2개씩이다.
헌데 이 녀석은 아무리 봐도 수술이 한 개이다. 버드나무가 아니고 다른 종일까?
거 참~!!! 분명 버드나무인데...
