물 빠진 습지의 바닥은 높낮이 굴곡이 얼마나 심한지 사초 둥치들을 잘 딛고 가야 하는데

균형을 잡기가 어려워서 금방 쑤욱하고 바닥에 빠져 버린다

그러기에 진행하는데 많은 에너지가 소모되어 전진하기가 쉽지 않다.

 

여름철이면 많은 꽃들을 볼 수 있었을 테지만 꽃이라고는 초오속과 용담속, 국화과 정도밖에 없다.

그래도 이 시기가 아니면 가을 꽃과 열매듣 볼 수 없으니 한 번은 와야 하는지라 이번 탐사 팀이 꾸려진 것이다.

덕분에 습지 가장자리에서 반짝 버들도 만날 수 있었다.

한반도 북부지역과 중국 몽골에 분포한다. 다른 버드나무들에 비하여 여름철에 개화하는 게 특징이다.
