지난해 이 녀석의 존재에 대하여 알게 되었던 좀돌팥이다.
우리가 가장 흔하게 만나던 새팥이 바로 좀돌팥이었던 것을 그동안 그냥 새팥으로만 알고 있었던 게다
정작 새팥이 오히려 흔하지 않은 녀석이었는데.....
지난 해 다시 확인하였던 새팥은 3출엽의 잎이 난형이나 좁은 난형으로 잎 가장자리가 얕게 결각이 지는 경우가 있으며,
포가 꽃받침보다 더 길거나 같고 화서에는 털이 있거나 없으며 가장 중요한 종자의 제(배꼽)는 도드라지지 않고 가늘고 긴 일자형이었다
좀돌팥은 잎이 좁은 피침형으로 잎 가장자리에 결각이 없으며,
포는 꽃받침보다 짧고 화서에 털이 없고 종자 배꼽은 볼록하게 도드라지고 흰색을 띄고 있었다.
| 좀돌팥 : 콩과 동부속 한해살이풀제주도를 제외한 전국에 분포하며 볕이 잘 드는 저지대에 서식하고 새팥보다 더 흔하게 나타나는 일년생 덩굴식물이다. 잎은 3출엽으로 어긋나며 난형에서 좁고 긴 피침형까지 변이가 심하며 소엽은 잎 가장자리에 결각이 없고 좁은 난형에서 피침형에 가깝다. 화서에 털이 없고 소포의 길이가 꽃받침보다 짧다. 제(종자의 흰 배꼽)가 종자는 주로 흑갈색 반점이 있으며 표면에서 볼록하게 도드라지고 흰색을 띈다.(콩과 동부속 새팥과 좀돌팥의 학명 표기 : 이정란외 4인 공저 논문, 식물분류학회지 36판 2006. 8.) |
화서에 털이 없고 소포의 길이가 꽃받침보다 짧다고 하는데
화서에 털이 있는 것도 있다. 화서에 털이 없다는 것은 아마 관찰 미흡이 아닐까 한다.
종자의 배꼽인 제는 길고 볼록하게 도드라지며 흰색을 띈다
탁엽이다.
좀돌팥의 잎은 피침형이고, 화경, 화서 줄기에 털이 그렇게 많지가 않다.
