큰여우콩(콩과 여우콩속) 열매 Rhynchosia acuminatifolia Makin

유후~! 큰여우콩을 만났다.

여우콩, 여우팥 자료는 있는데 큰여우콩을 아직 만나보지 못하여서 어디 가서 만날 수 있을까 궁리를 하던 차였다.

 

마침 경산 출장 길에 오전 시간이 여유가 있길래 큰여우콩을 만나러 일찍 서둘러 길 나섰다.

차 한 잔 마시는 사이 혹시나 하여 연락한 ㄷ 님도 도착하고 마침 ㄷ님이 시간이 있어서 함께 뒷골을 안내해 주신단다.

 

볕이 잘 드는 골에는 자주방아풀이 한창이었다.

여우콩 잎을 닮은 새콩이 잡풀 위를 뒤덮고 있어서 꼬리가 빠진 큰여우콩을 찾는데 한참 걸렸다.

뭐 꽃이야 기대하지 않지만 열매라도 담을 수 있다면 더 바랠 것이 없는데, 납작하니 노르스름하게 익어가고 있는 꼬투리가 반갑다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 호생하고 엽병이 길며 3출엽이고 정소엽이 난형 또는 장란형으로 길이 4~8cm, 나비 3~5cm이며

잎 끝이 뾰족하고 밑은 둔하거나 둥글며 뒷면에 선점이 있고 가장자리가 밋밋하다.

큰여우콩은 끝이 뾰족하고 길게 빠져 있는데 여우콩은 잎끝이 짧고 양면에 누른 털이 많다.

 

 

 

 

성질 급한 녀석은 벌써 까만 눈을 반들거리고 있다. ㅎㅎ..안뇽?

 

껍질이 노랗게 익다가 이렇게 빨갛게 변하면서 갈라진다.

 

 

과실은 협과로 장타원형이며 적색으로 익고 겉에 잔털이 있으며 종자는 흑색이고 2개씩 들어있다.
