여우팥(콩과 여우팥속) Dunbaria villosa (Thunb.) Makino

여우팥과 여우콩은 마름모에 가까운 3 소엽이 특징이다.

그 마름모 잎 모양이 여우 얼굴을 닮았을까? 아니면 까만 콩알이 여우는처럼 반짝거려서일까?

여우콩이야 붉은 콩깍지가 벌어지면 까아만 여우콩이 유난스레 반짝이지만 여우팥은 꼬투리가 벌어진 걸 본 기억이 없다.

 

 

 

총상화서는 엽액에서 나오며 화경이 짧고 3-8개의 꽃이 달리며 꽃은 7-8월에 피고 마디에 1개씩 달리며 길이와 나비가 각 15-18mm로서 황색이고 소화경은 길이 6-8mm이다.

 

 

협과는 편평한 선형이며 털이 있고 길이 4.5-5cm, 나비 8mm로서 6-8개의 종자가 들어 있다.

 

 

 

잎은 호생하며 3출엽으로서 엽병이 길고 비스듬히 선 짧은 털이 밀생하며 뒷면에 적갈색 선점이 있고 정소엽은 사각형 비슷하며 길이와 나비가 각 1.5-3cm로서 끝이 뾰족해지다가 둔해진다. 탁엽은 좁은 난상 삼각형이고 끝이 뾰족하며 길이 2mm로서 털이 있고 소탁엽은 극히 작다.
