씀바귀/흰씀바귀(국화과 씀바귀속)

지리산 자락 모임에서 흰씀바귀와 씀바귀를 한자리에서 다 만난다.

씀바귀 녀석은 중부지역 위쪽에서는 본 적이 없고 남쪽으로 가서야 흔하게 만나는 녀석이니.....

 

설상화가 많은 선씀바귀에 비하여 6~8개의 설상화를 가진 녀석이라 무척 여리고 애처로운 느낌을 준다.

이 녀석은 주로 산자락 볕이 잘 드는 산자락에서 볼 수 있는데 민가 근처에 많이 보이고 김칫거리로 이용하는 녀석은 노랑선씀바귀이다.

 

 

 

총포는 털이 없고 길이 8mm, 지름 2.5-3mm로서 통형이며 외포편은 길이 1mm정도이고 외포편은 5-8개로서 총형이며

소포는 길이 9.5-12mm이다

 

 

 

꽃은 5-7월에 피며 지름 15mm정도로서 가지 끝과 원줄기 끝에 산방상으로 달린다. 소화가 7-8개이다.

 

 

근생엽은 꽃이 필 때까지 남아 있고 도피침형 또는 도피침형 긴 타원형이며 끝이 뾰족하고

 밑부분이 좁아져서 긴 엽병과 연결되며 가장자리에 치아상의 톱니가 있거나 결각이 약간 생긴다.

 

 

 

경생엽은 2-3개이고 피침형 또는 긴 타원상 피침형이며 길이 4-9cm로서 밑부분이 원줄기를 감싸고

가장자리에 치아상의 잔톱니가 있거나 우상으로 갈라진다.

 

 

 

 

높이 25-50cm이고 윗부분에서 가지가 갈라진다
