작년 이 사찰 숲에서 꽃이 피기 전의 산씀바귀 잎을 보고 어떤 꽃이 필까 무척 궁금해 했었다.
뒤늦게 두메고들빼기 같이 노란 꽃이 피는 걸 보고 산씀바귀가 따로 있다는 걸 알게 해 주었던 녀석이다.
높이 65-150cm이고 줄기는 곧게 서며 긴 털이 밀생한다.
근생엽은 꽃이 필 때 쓰러지고 경생엽은 날개가 있는 긴 엽병이 있으며 원줄기를 감싸지 않고
표면은 붉은빛이 도는 녹색으로서 털이 약간 있으며 뒷면은 회청색으로서 맥 위에 털이 있고 무우잎처럼 갈라진다.
정열편은 난상 삼각형이며 끝이 뾰족하고 불규칙한 톱니가 있으며 측열편은 1-3쌍으로서 가장자리에 치아상의 톱니가 있다.
중앙부의 잎은 길이 8-11cm로서 엽병이 길지만 위로 올라갈수록 점차 짧아지고 피침형으로 된다.
<두메고들빼기>
산씀바귀와 식생이 비슷하고 전초와 잎의 크기 등이 비슷하여 혼돈하기 쉬운 녀석이다.
아래쪽 잎은 삼각형을 이루고 잎자루로 엽신이 넓게 날개를 이루며 줄기를 깊이 감싼다.
밑부분의 잎은 일찍 쓰러진다. 잎은 호생하며 삼각형 또는 삼각상 심장형이고 예두로서
가장자리가 불규칙하게 치아상으로 갈라지며 밑부분이 얕은 심장저 또는 절저이고 표면은 녹색이며 뒷면은 흰빛이 돌고
일부분이 둥근 심장형으로 되어 원줄기를 감싸며 엽병에 날개가 있다.
