1. 고들빼기 : 수술이 노랗다. 잎의 결각이 날카롭고 잎 아래가 줄기를 감싼다.
경생엽(줄기잎)은 호생(어긋나기)하고 난형 또는 난상 긴 타원형이며 길이 2.3-6cm로서 예두이고
밑부분이 넓어져서 원줄기를 크게 감싸며 불규칙한 결각상의 톱니가 있고 위로 올라갈수록 작아진다.
근생엽(뿌리잎)은 꽃이 필 때까지 남아 있거나 없어지며 엽병이 없고 긴 타원형이며 둔두이고
길이 2.5-5cm, 나비 14-17mm로서 양면에 털이 없으며 표면은 녹색, 뒷면은 회청색이고 가장자리가 빗살처럼 갈라진다.
2. 까치고들빼기
잎은 호생하며 엽병이 있고 우상으로 완전히 갈라지며 열편은 서로 떨어져 있고 3-6쌍
엽병은 중축과 더불어 날개가 없고 밑부분이 이저로 되어 원줄기를 둘러쌈
3. 왕고들빼기
줄기잎은 호생(어긋나기)하고 피침형 또는 긴 타원상 피침형이며 끝이 뾰족하고
길이 10-30cm, 폭 1-5cm로서 밑부분이 직접 원줄기에 달리며 표면은 녹색이고 뒷면은 분백색으로서 털이 없다.
가장자리가 결각상이거나 뒤로 젖혀진 우상(깃꼴)으로 갈라지고 열편에 결각상의 톱니가 드문드문 있다.
윗부분의 잎은 갈라지지 않으며 작고 밋밋하거나 잔톱니가 있다.
4. 가는잎왕고들빼기
줄기잎은 호생하고 피침형이며 끝이 뾰족하고 길이 10-30cm로서 밑부분이 직접 원줄기에 달리며
표면은 녹색이고 뒷면은 분백색으로서 털이 없다. 잎이 갈라지지 않으며 작고 밋밋하거나 잔톱니가 있다.

5. 이고들빼기
국화과, 산에서 자라는 한두해살이풀. 30~70cm 높이로 자라는 줄기는 가지가 갈라진다.
주걱 모양의 잎은 줄기에 어긋나며 밑 부분은 귀처럼 되어 줄기를 반쯤 감싸고
가장자리에 치아 모양의 톱니가 드문드문 있다.
높이 30-70cm이고 흔히 자줏빛이 돌며 곧게 서고 윗부분에서 많은 가지가 갈라진다.
근생엽은 꽃이 필 때 말라 없어지고 경생엽은 호생하며 주걱형이고 끝이 둔하며 길이 6~11cm, 폭 3~7cm로서
양면에 털이 없고 가장자리에 불규칙한 치아상의 톱니가 있으며 밑부분이 다소 줄기를 감싸는 듯하다.
6. 두메고들빼기
높이가 1m에 달하고 원줄기는 곧게 서며 둥글고 털이 없으며 밑부분이 자주빛을 띠고 윗부분에서 가지가 갈라진다.
잎은 호생하며 삼각형 또는 삼각상 심장형이고
가장자리가 불규칙하게 치아상으로 갈라지며 밑부분이 얕은 심장저 또는 절저이고
위로 올라갈수록 잎이 작아지고 엽병이 원줄기를 감싸지 않는다.
표면은 녹색이며 뒷면은 흰빛이 돌고 일부분이 둥근 심장형으로 되어 원줄기를 감싸며 엽병에 날개가 있다.
삼각상의 잎이 잎자루에 날개가 있고 줄기를 깊게 감싼다.
밑부분의 잎은 일찍 쓰러진다. 아랫부분의 잎은 삼각형으로 잎자루에 날개가 있다
