서양오엽딸기(장미과)

가까운 곳에 서양오엽딸기가 있어서 꽃과 열매를 담곤 한다.

서양오엽딸기는 줄기가 굵고 화서도 풍성하고 열매가 검게 익는다.

 

열매가 붉게 익는 자생의 오엽딸기는 만난 적이 없어서 어디가면 볼 수 있나? 하고

볼 기회를 엿보곤 했지만 정보를 알 수가 없어서 잊어버리고 있었는데 

이 곳 못 가에 오엽딸기가 있는 걸 여태껏 왜 보질 못했는지 모르겠다.

 

헌데 오엽딸기에 대한 분명한 자료가 어디에도 보이지 않는다.

열매가 검게 익는 서양오엽딸기를 오엽딸기라 올려 둔 게 대부분이다

 

완도수목원에서 만났던 오엽딸기는 잎 뒷면이 분백색을 띠고 있었는데 이 녀석은 뒷면이 녹색이다

국생정의 기재문으로 봐서는 서식지가 경북 금오산으로 되어 있다.

 

완도의 녀석과 이 곳의 녀석 모두 오엽딸기로 볼 수 있을까?

  

 

 

잎은 5개의 소엽으로 구성된 장상복엽으로 중앙의 소엽은 가장 크며 사각상 도란형이고 끝이 뾰족하며 예저이고 길이 5~8cm로서

 

 

 

표면과 뒷면 맥 위에 누운 복모가 다소 있으며 결각상의 복거치가 있다.

잎 뒷면 큰맥과 자잘한 맥 위에 털이 있다. 가장자리에 관찰되는 털로 봐서 표면에도 털이 있음을 확인할 수 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

엽병과 주맥 위에 고부라진 가시가 있다.

완도수목원에서 본 오엽딸기의 잎 뒷면은 분백색이었는데 이 녀석은 녹색이다.????

 

 

 

 완도의 녀석과 강원도의 녀석이 이렇게 차이가 난다.

 

완도의 오엽딸기 : 뒷면 분백색에 잎맥 엽병, 엽신에 밀모가 있다

강원도의 오엽딸기: 뒷면은 녹색, 잎맥에 잔털 분명하고 엽신에 잔털 있다.

 

 

이 녀석은 <서양오엽딸기>로 오엽딸기와는 우선 소엽의 엽병의 길이에서 차이가 나고 엽병에 고부라진 가시가 드물다

 

 

 

 

 

엽병을 가진 5장의 잎이 장상으로 달려 있지만 가지 끝 부분의 잎은 3장인 경우도 있고

5장 중에 아래쪽의 잎이 2장씩 붙은 모양으로 있기도 하다 

 

 

 

줄기는 가늘고 홈이져 있으며 긴 가시가 드문드문 나 있다.

 

 

 

탁엽은 길이 6-8mm로서 피침형이고 끝이 뾰족하다.

줄기의 가시는 고부라지지 않고 곧게 나 있는데 엽병과  주맥 위의 가시는 고부라져 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

꽃은 7월에 짧은 가지 끝에 1~2송이씩 달려서 밑으로 처지며

꽃받침은 5개이고 길이 15-20mm로서 선모가 섞인 짧은 털과 가시가 있고 열편 끝이 대개 3개로 갈라지는 것이 많다.

꽃잎은 소형이며 뚜렷하지 않다.

 고 한다. 헌데 오엽딸기 꽃을 담은 사람이 아무도 없는지 꽃 이미지가 검색이 되지 않는다

오엽딸기 꽃이라고 검색되는 것은 서양오엽딸기이다.
