거문딸기(장미과)

남녘에는 딸기 종류가 많다. 보이는 대로 담으려 했더니 이 번에는 이 녀석 한 종류 밖에 만나지 못하였다.

첫째 날. 함께 한 제주 꽃동무가 일부러 차를 세우고 이 녀석 담을 시간을 주었는데 급하게 담아서 제대로 담질 못했다.

마침 마지막 날 ㄷㄷ봉 근처에서 혼자놀기를 하는데 이 녀석이 군락을 이루고 있다.

 

비슷한 녀석으로 섬딸기가 있다. 섬딸기는 잎자루와 꽃자루에 선모가 없고 줄기에 가시가 없다고 한다.

햇가지과 잎자루와 꽃자루에 선모가 있으면 거문딸기란다(한국식물검색집, 이상태)

 

잎도 대형이고 키도 내 키만큼 큰데 가시가 전혀 없는 녀석이다. 꽃과 열매를 못 담아서 아쉽다.

그래도 요모 조모 찬찬히 담을 수 있어서 다행이다.

 

 

 

 

 

꽃은 백색으로 새가지에 1개씩 달리는데 6월에 핀다. 화경에 선모(腺毛)가 있고 화병은 길이 1-2cm로서

꽃받침과 더불어 비로드같은 털이 밀생한다. 꽃받침은 난상 긴 타원형으로서 첨두이며 안쪽에 짧은 털이 밀생하고

꽃잎은 난상 원형이며 백색이고 길이와 폭이 각각 15mm로서 옆으로 퍼진다.

 

 

잎은 삼각상 난형이며 길이 5-7cm, 폭 4-6cm로서 양면 또는 맥 위에 짧은 털이 있고 예두 또는 짧은 예첨두이며 심장저 또는 절저이고

 3-5 중열(中裂) 또는 천열(淺裂)되며 불규칙한 톱니가 드문드문 있다. 엽병에 선모(腺毛)가 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

높이가 2m에 달하고 가시가 없으며 가지는 굵고 어린 가지에 선모(腺毛)가 있다.

탁엽은 피침형이다.
