북해도식물 -나도양지꽃(장미과 나도양지꽃속) Waldsteinia ternata (Stephan) Fritsch

은하폭포 아래 숲에서 담았던 장미과 녀석이다.

이 녀석은 꽃잎이 다 떨어진 상태라 꽃의 이미지를 알 수가 없는데

꽃받침이 부악편까지 있어서 양지꽃속으로 보았는데....고산식물도감에서는 엽형이 같은 걸 찾지 못하였다.

 

삽화도감의 그림 중 엽형이 좀 애매하긴 하지만 waldstenia ternata 삽화와 흡사하여 학명으로 이미지를 확인하니 맞다.

 

유럽과 아시아의 장미과에 속하는 다년생 식물로 습한 숲에서 자라며 해발 약 1000m까지 올라간다.

노란색 꽃을 피우며 잎과 꽃은 딸기 같지만 열매는 먹을 수 없다.  스톨론과 러너에 의해 확산되지만 비교적 느리게 확산되며 잎이 밀집하여 지표를 덮는다고 한다. 다소 습하고 반 그늘진 장소에서 안정적으로 자라는 땅을 덮는 다년생 식물로 정원과 공원에 지표식물로 많이 식재한다. 유럽쪽에선 '불모의 딸기'로도 불려진다.

 

일본명 '코킨바이' コキンバイ 원산지는 S. 시베리아에서 북일본 중부까지이다.

 

ㅋ~!!!

그런데 학명을 찾아놓고 보니 나도양지꽃 학명이었다. 

이미지가 나도양지꽃스럽지 않아서 그녀석이라고 생각지도 못하였다.
