참양지꽃의 존재가 참 애매하다.
작년 석회암 지대의 양지꽃 녀석 하나를 참양지꽃이라 올려 두긴 했는데 솔직히 돌양지꽃과 외견상 구분이 어렵기 때문이다
도감에 기재된 내용으로는 수과 열매 아래 털의 길이가 수과보다 짧은 녀석을 참양지꽃, 수과보다 긴 녀석을 돌양지꽃이라 하니
기재문 상의 내용을 기준으로 할 때 꽃이 피는 모습을 보고 참양지꽃이라 섣부르게 파단을 내리기 어렵기 때문이다
일반적으로 돌양지꽃보다 잎이 얇고 톱니가 예리하다 하니 치아상 톱니가 잘 발달한 이 녀석이 참양지꽃으로 정리한다.
꽃은 6-7월에 피고 지름 10mm로서 황색이며 화탁에 길이 2mm의 백색털이 밀생하고 취산화서에 10개 내외의 꽃이 달린다.
꽃받침잎은 끝이 뾰족하며 좁은 난형이고 암술대는 길이 1.5mm이다.
열매는 수과로서 난형이며 갈색으로서 밋밋하고 밑부분에 수과보다 짧은 털이 있다.
근생엽은 엽병이 길며 소엽은 3개(간혹 5개)이고 사각상 난형 또는 타원형이며 길이 2.5-5cm, 폭 1.5-3cm로
뒷면이 분백색이고 끝이 뾰족하거나 둔하며 가장자리에 뾰족한 톱니가 있고
탁엽은 피침형이며 끝이 뾰족하다.
