어리목 골짝을 오르는 길섶에 양지꽃이 노랗게 피어 있다. 소엽이 석장이니 세잎양지라 할수 있는데,
제주도이니 그냥 세잎양지꽃은 아닐 터라 제주양지꽃입네, 민눈양지꽃입네 짐작되는 이름들을 들먹거렸다.
결국 민눈양지꽃이 아닐까 하면서 담아 왔는데, 제주양지꽃은 소엽이 5장이고 민눈양지꽃은 소엽이 3장에 복모가 있다고 한다.
3출복엽이고 소엽은 엽병이 없으며 사각상 난형이고
가장자리에 깊고 뾰족한 톱니가 있으며 엽병과 더불어 백색 복모가 있고 탁엽은 막질이다.
화경(花莖)은 높이 10-20cm로서 2-3개로 갈라져 짧은 소화경 끝에 꽃이 1개씩 달리며 꽃은 5-6월에 피고 지름 15-20mm로서 황색이다.
꽃받침잎은 넓은 피침형이며 끝이 뾰족하고 부악편도 5개로서 이와 비슷하지만 3개로 갈라지기도 한다.
꽃잎은 5개이며 넓은 도심장형이고 끝이 파지며 꽃받침보다 1.5배정도 길고 수평으로 퍼지며 화탁 주변에 털이 있다.
높이 10-20cm이고 줄기는 가늘며 포복지가 길게 뻗고 전체에 긴 털이 있다.
