선이질풀(쥐손이풀과 쥐손이풀속) Geranium krameri Franch. & Sav.

참 오랜만에 만난 녀석이다.  가까운 낮은 산지에 이 녀석을 만날 수 있어서 반갑다.

산과 들에 자라는 여러해살이풀이다. 줄기는 곧추서거나 비스듬히 자라며, 높이 60~90cm, 가지를 치고 전체에 아래로 향하는 털이 있다. 뿌리잎은 둥글고 길이 7~10cm, 5~7갈래로 깊게 갈라지고, 잎자루는 길이 30cm쯤이다. 줄기잎은 마주나며, 잎자루는 위로 갈수록 짧아진다. 갈래잎은 난형, 가장자리는 톱니 모양이다. 잎 뒷면 맥에 긴 털이 있다. 턱잎은 난형, 끝은 뾰족하다. 꽃은 7~8월에 연한 분홍색으로 핀다. 꽃받침잎은 난형, 끝은 뾰족하고 겉에 5~7개의 줄이 있다. 꽃잎은 길이 1.2~1.5cm, 밑부분은 쐐기 모양, 짙은 자주색 줄과 흰색 털이 있다. 열매는 삭과, 5개로 갈라져 위로 말린다. 씨는 진한 갈색, 타원형이다. 우리나라 경기도, 강원도, 전라북도, 경상북도 등에 나며, 러시아, 일본, 중국 동북부 등에 분포한다.
