학명 오적용으로 혼란스럽게 만든 땅꽈리속에 다들 혼란스러워한다

 

땅꽈리 (P. pubescens L.): 잎 가장자리 거치 파상, 화관 안쪽 기부에 흑자색 무늬, 열매일 때 꽃받침에는 녹색 그물맥

노란꽃땅꽈리 (P. angulata)  :  잎가장자리 거치 깊고 끝이 뾰족, 화관 안쪽에 황갈색 무늬 열매일 때 꽃받침 적갈색 그물맥

P. angulata는 땅꽈리의 학명으로 흔히 인용되었으나, 오적용된 것이다. 노란꽃땅꽈리(P. angulata)는 잎 가장자리 거치가 깊고 끝이 뾰족하며, 화관 안쪽 기부에 황색-연한 황갈색 무늬가 있고, 열매일 때 꽃받침에는 적갈색의 그물맥이 있다. 반면, 땅꽈리(P. pubescens L.)는 잎 가장자리 거치는 파상이고, 화관 안쪽 기부에 흑자색 무늬가 있으며, 열매일 때 꽃받침에는 녹색의 그물맥이 있는 특징으로 구분된다. 한편 노란꽃땅꽈리가 박수현(1999)에 의해 처음 보고될 때 인용된 P. wrightii와 김과 길(2017)이 인용한 P. acutifolia 역시 오적용된 학명이다.

 

신도시라 도로변 조경을 할 때 아마도 조경수를 식재할 때 따라서 들어 온 것 같다.
